Bernie Sanders: Apologize to Christians!

  • 1,732

NOTE: After signing the petition, you will get a chance to send a physical postcard to Bernie Sanders. Let's make Senator Sanders know that Christians stand against his hateful and ignorant comments!

In the confirmation hearing for Trump's nominee for deputy White House budget director, U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders suggested that holding traditional Christian beliefs disqualifies someone from public service in the United States.

The senator's comments grossly violate Article VI of the U.S. Constitution, which states that “no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States.” According to the Founding Fathers, Bernie's comments are wrong! Christians are fit to serve in public office.

We need to let Senator Sanders know that we, as Christians committed to traditional beliefs and basic American freedoms, reject his religious bigotry and demand an apology!
