Mattel, the California toy company that created Barbie and Ken, has launched a line of “gender-inclusive” dolls in a move Time described as an “overt nod to trans and non-binary identities.”
Some LifeSiteNews readers have better described the move as "grooming" a new generation of children and parents to accept a "gender-bending" philosophy.
Indeed, with an estimate of between .005% and .003% of children suffering with gender dysphoria, it seems clear that this move by Mattel is not a business decision, but a political decision.
In other words, Mattel will not make enough money by selling this product line to gender-confused children and adults to justify its existence.
Rather, this move seems expressly designed to appeal to adults who support radical gender ideology, where sex is something one chooses, not an objective biological fact.
But, it is not Mattel's role - as a toy-maker - to enter into this delicate area of sexual and moral ethics.
However, because Mattel has chosen to pursue this dangerous political decision over the best interests of children, we are calling on parents to boycott Mattel until they discontinue this line of gender-neutral dolls.

Many eminent psychiatrists are now speaking against the faulty notion that sex is fluid and a matter of choice. In particular, they are concerned about the welfare of children and young people in this regard.
Has Mattel consulted a broad range of psychiatric professionals in this decision, or have they unwisely decided to bow to LGBT lobbyists on this issue, putting children at risk?
Dr Paul McHugh, former psychiatrist-in-chief at Johns Hopkins University, who has researched the occurrence of gender dysphoria for 40 years, has stated that the notion of gender fluidity "is doing much damage to families, adolescents, and children and should be confronted as an opinion without biological foundation wherever it emerges". And, the American College of Pediatricians (ACP) is definite about the promotion of transgenderism as being harmful public policy:
"Human sexuality is an objective biological binary trait: 'XY' and 'XX' are genetic markers of health – not genetic markers of a disorder. The norm for human design is to be conceived, either male or female…Conditioning children into believing that a lifetime of chemical and surgical impersonation of the opposite sex is normal and healthful is child abuse.
