Update: Petition delivered to parliament as Candace Owens thanks you for supporting her

This petition calling on Australia's Immigration Minister Tony Burke to reinstate Candace Owens' visa has been tabled in parliament by Senator Malcolm Roberts.

While freedom activist and LifeSiteNews contributor Monica Smit delivered the petition to parliament, Owens took the time on her latest show to thank you for standing in solidarity with her.

Candace Owens has been blocked from entering Australia for a speaking tour – we must pressure Australian Immigration Minister Tony Burke to reinstate Candace’s visa.

SIGN: Tell Australian Immigration Minister to approve Candace Owens’ visa application.

Commenting on the decision, the minister claimed that Owens has “the capacity to incite discord.”

The cancellation comes because of her well-known status as an influential conservative who has opposed the war in Gaza, exposed our increasingly degenerate secular culture, and is a significant threat to establishment politicians.

Owens is also a recent convert to Catholicism – her declaration that “Christ is King” played no small part in her being fired from Daily Wire.

“Australia’s national interest is best served when Candace Owens is somewhere else,” the immigration minister said.

SIGN: Tell Australian officials to allow Candace Owens into their country.

Her tour website advertises, “Join us for an electrifying evening with Candace Owens ... Known for her controversial takes and unwavering stance, Candace is set to light up stages across Australia and New Zealand with her bold and unfiltered perspectives.”

It would be impossible to claim that Owens poses a threat to the country in any way aside from presenting viewpoints that contradict what officials wish their citizens to believe, and this kind of "discord” is exactly what they are afraid of.

Allowing people to hear differing viewpoints and think for themselves could lead to a rejection of the mainstream lies they have been fed, and thus Owens presents a threat to those in power.

SIGN: Tell Australian immigration minister to approve Candace Owens’ visa.

We must take a stand against this blatant abuse of power and demand that Candace Owens be allowed into Australia. Different opinions won’t harm Australia, but irresponsible weaponization of power will.
