Ask Pope Leo XIV to perform the consecration of Russia that Our Lady requested in Fatima

In 1917, Our Lady of Fatima appeared to three shepherd children with an urgent message from Heaven: God wished to save the world through devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. This message came with clear instructions. Chief among them was the consecration of Russia—Russia alone—by the Pope in union with all the world’s bishops. This act, along with the establishment of the Five First Saturdays devotion, would bring about the conversion of Russia and a period of peace for the world.

Over a century later, this consecration has still not been fulfilled as requested. While several popes have made partial attempts—including the most recent by Pope Francis in 2022—none have met the simple but precise conditions laid out by Heaven. The result? No peace, no conversion, and the continued spread of war, chaos, and spiritual confusion.

Now, in this moment of historic change in the Church, we have a providential opportunity.

Pope Leo XIV has inspired hope and openness among the faithful. He has an opportunity to do what none before him have done: finally fulfill Our Lady’s request and bring down the promised graces upon the world.

This is why we urge you to sign our petition, respectfully requesting Pope Leo XIV to perform the full, public, and collegial consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, exactly as outlined by Our Lady of Fatima.

Fatima scholar Christopher Ferrara stated plainly: “There has yet to be a collegial consecration of the Pope and the bishops together of Russia—Russia alone—to the Immaculate Heart.” Attempts like that of 2022 have consecrated “humanity,” “Ukraine,” and even “ourselves,” but never Russia explicitly and alone, as requested. And none have been done in full union with the bishops of the world, nor have they included the acts of reparation and the promotion of the Five First Saturdays devotion, which Our Lady insisted were essential parts of the message.

Bishop Joseph Strickland and Bishop Bernard Fellay—along with many lay leaders, priests, and scholars—have agreed: the 2022 consecration was not sufficient. It lacked the clarity, focus, and obedience Heaven demands.

And yet, the call remains clear: God is still waiting for the consecration to be done rightly. As Our Lord told Sister Lucia in 1931, “They will do it, but it will be late.” Heaven’s request will be fulfilled—but at what cost if we continue to delay?

Pope Leo XIV represents a new chapter in the life of the Church. Already, signs of openness to Fatima’s full message are emerging. Even episcopal conferences previously indifferent are now endorsing the Five First Saturdays devotion—a striking and hopeful development.

Now is the time to act. With prayerful urgency, we must present our plea to the Holy Father. As lay faithful, it is our duty to lovingly remind our shepherds of Heaven’s simple request—and to unite in calling on Pope Leo XIV to bring about the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

This petition is not about criticism, but about charity. It is not about politics, but obedience. It is not about nostalgia, but about salvation.

As David Rodriguez of the Fatima Center explains: “A true consecration could be completed with a prayer that takes less than five minutes and can be carried out gratis.” The cost is small. The reward is beyond measure: peace, conversion, and a renewed Church.

Please sign the petition and share it with others. Let Pope Leo XIV know that the faithful are ready to stand with him in obedience to God’s will.

The world groans under the weight of war, sin, and error. We have been given a remedy. It is time to use it.

In the end, Her Immaculate Heart will triumph. Let us help bring that day nearer. Sign the petition now.
