The Satanic Temple and their affiliated “healthcare organization,” TST Health, have opened the world’s second self-named "religious abortion clinic” in Virginia.

The first of the abortion centers is in New Mexico and opened in 2023. The Satanic Temple’s website boasts that over 100 abortions have taken place there, “free of charge,” and following its “religious abortion ritual.”
Now, in an effort to “[fight] back against the efforts to restrict abortion access in the years following the catastrophic Dobbs decision,” The Satanic Temple has opened its second center in Virginia.

The Satanic Temple claims that abortion is a part of their “religious practice,” and should thus be protected under the First Amendment. The group has filed lawsuits against states where abortion is illegal, saying that restriction of abortion is a violation of “religious liberty.”
In attempting to classify abortion as religious practice, Satanists have openly admitted the evil nature of abortion, which should be a wakeup call to those still denying the essential relationship between abortion and the satanic agenda. The explicit advertising of the horrifying murder of children is appalling, to put it gently.

One can only imagine the expansion of this horrible sin and the lives it will destroy if The Satanic Temple is able to operate this center and set the precedent for more to be established in the future.
Not only will the center be killing children, but it will be coercing women into participating in their ritual by presenting abortion as their only option. Women in these situations need our love and compassion, not pressure to rid themselves of the beautiful new life in their wombs.

As Our Lord declared through the prophet Jeremiah, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born, I consecrated you” (Jeremiah 1:5, RSV). We must not allow the atrocity of abortion to be practiced even more than it already is in our country, especially in so outrageous a mockery of God as is promulgated by The Satanic Temple.
On behalf of the countless precious souls that will be denied their fundamental right to life by this openly Satanic center, we must demand that Governor Youngkin shut down the abortion center.
