Early in 2014, Liberal leader Justin Trudeau announced that pro-life candidates would not be permitted to run for office in the Liberal party. "I have made it clear that future candidates need to be completely understanding that they will be expected to vote pro-choice on any bills," Trudeau said.
After a fierce backlash, Trudeau doubled down, announcing that not only would future candidates be expected to vote pro-abortion, but even current Liberal Members of Parliament would no longer be permitted to vote pro-life.
Laughably, Trudeau defended his decision by saying that his extremist mandate would not prevent members from “personally” holding pro-life views.
It is time that Trudeau hears from everyday Canadians that we will no longer stand for his extreme worldview, especially when it encroaches on our most basic freedoms of conscience, thought, belief, opinion and expression.
