NOTE: After you sign the petition, you'll be given a chance to send a postcard to Governor Abbott, thanking him for his courageous pro-life leadership. If you pay for postage, we'll print and mail a physical postcard to the Governor - Let's flood his office with pro-life support!

On June 6, 2017, Texas Governor Greg Abbott signed a law banning dismemberment abortions. This is one of the most common, and one of the most brutal methods for abortion, in which the child is ripped apart, limb by limb, in the womb. Dismemberment abortions are a horrific attack on the sanctity of life.

In passing this law, Texans have made an incredible stride toward ending abortion in their state and around the country.

The Texas Unborn Child Protection from Dismemberment Abortion Act also bans partial-birth abortion and the sale of aborted babies' body parts. Partial-birth abortion involves delivering all of a live baby except her head and then stabbing scissors into the base of her skull, sucking her brains out, and then removing her head after it's been destroyed. It's a form of late-term abortion that is illegal under federal law; other methods of late-term abortion are legal even hours before a baby is to be born.

Of course, abortion activists are already trying to subvert this law. They’ve taken to the liberal media to distort the truth about this amazing victory for life. They’re threatening legal action. They’re outraged. WE CAN’T LET THEM WIN!

Let's thank Governor Abbott for leading the Lone Star State to adopt this awesome, life-affirming legislation! SIGN and SHARE this petition, so that EVERY state will ban abortion!
