UPDATE (3/10/21) -
The House has passed the $1.9T COVID relief package. For the first time in 44 years, the Democrats voted against amendments to prevent taxpayer dollars from funding abortion domestically.
In a complete reversal of the protections given to the unborn by the Hyde Amendment and the Trump Administration, billions of dollars will now be spent by the U.S. federal government to fund and promote abortion in the United States and abroad.
Joe Biden championed the rescission of the Hyde Amendment during the campaign, and has said that he will sign the bill on Friday.

The relief bill which just passed the House contains funding for abortion, both inside and outside the United States, and even sets up a $50 million slush fund for Planned Parenthood!
This is outrageous!

The Democrats' use of COVID-19 as a pretext to fund abortion is unconscionable and disgusting in equal measures!
Americans do not want our politicians to use COVID relief as an excuse to fund abortion. A recent poll shows that a solid majority of Americans (58%) of ALL political backgrounds oppose the use of taxpayer funding for abortion.*
But, the Democrats' relief bill conspicuously leaves out Hyde Amendment protections against domestic funding of abortion!
Not only that, the bill is actually a revolting funding wishlist for abortion projects at home and abroad, including:
- $750 million for U.S. community health centers and "global health" finance WITHOUT the protections of the Hyde Amendment.
- $50 million for Title X which could be used by abortionists like Planned Parenthood as a bailout cash reserve.
- Giving Planned Parenthood access to small business relief.
- Further funding of COBRA insurance under Obamacare which funds abortion with taxpayer dollars.
