The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services issued a mandate under the Affordable Care Act (better known as Obamacare) that requires all employer health plans to provide free contraceptives, sterilizations, and abortion-inducing drugs, regardless of any moral or religious objections. President Trump made a campaign promise to lift this mandate once and for all!
In May, President Trump signed an executive order he said would bring an end to the attacks on religious liberty of the American people. However, more than 100 days have passed since the executive order was signed, and many groups like Hobby Lobby and the Little Sisters of the Poor are still being forced to provide these items. This is a direct violation of our religious liberty. The President has failed to keep his campaign promises and failed to follow through on his executive order.
